About Us

We’re a not for profit, community group that runs a radio station in association with the Chorlton Arts Festival Team  in May each year.

We will be back on air in May 2011, bigger and better than last year! sign up to our mailing list to be kept informed.

The station was live every day of the festival in 2010 and promoted Chorlton Arts Festival through interviews, promotion and reviews.

We were an additional performance space for the festival and provided a platform for 95 live guests and bands, including a choir of over 20 people. We performed 10 live plays in our studio and over 400 people came through our door in the two weeks we were on air.

All programming was  undertaken by volunteers from the local community under the guidance of the community group team, thereby giving local people rather than radio professionals a chance to be on air and learn radio skills.

We’re looking  for volunteers and artists who want to get involved in the station this year. watch this space!
